Contemporary literature and Global Sustainable Development Our Summer School take the contemporary literature and culture as method, as zone of comparison and connection, or as shared conversation. The faculty team of the course consists of 16 outstanding instructors from Zhejiang University and National University of Singapore, Harvard University, Duke University, University of Oxford, Rutgers University, Wellesley College, the University of Hong Kong, and The Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Inclusive Development Inclusive development allows for sustained increases in living standards for people, protects the environment and livelihoods, creates equitable employment, reduces poverty, safeguards health care and social welfare, and empowers the vulnerable through education and skill development. This summer course will give participants a deeper understanding of the underlying issues of how to achieve inclusive development, and enhances learners’ ability to analyze, design, and evaluate policies and projects in developing societies, economies and polities.
