Data visualization has emerged as a critical tool for effectively communicating complex information in a visual and accessible manner. With the increasing importance of data-driven decision-making, there has never been a greater need for individuals with strong data visualization skills. ZJU College of Computer Science and Technology, together with its international partners and ZJU partners, is going to present the Global Summer School of Data Visualization. This program offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in enhancing their data visualization skills to connect with a global community of like-minded professionals.
Over the course of the program, participants will learn about the latest trends and techniques in data visualization from leading experts in the field. Through a series of basic lectures and interactive workshops, they will develop their skills in data analysis, storytelling, and design, with the opportunity to work on real-world projects that require data visualization solutions. The program also provides a series of advanced talks that cover a wide range of topics, including smart cities, education accessibility, and equality, etc. Participants will also have the chance to network and collaborate with individuals from all over the world, building lasting relationships within the data visualization community.
Course Time: July 15 - July 22, 2024
